Alyssa recently completed her bachelor’s degree in Honors Biomedical Science from York University with the goal of pursuing medical school. Her background in the biological sciences and global health has led her to take an interest in the interdisciplinary nature of health.

I’m an undergraduate Applied Mathematics student with a deep passion for exploring the practical applications of mathematics in the real world. One area that particularly excites me is the intersection of mathematics, computer science, and sustainability and how computational mathematics can play a pivotal role in addressing the various environmental challenges we face today. As a lover of all things related to discovering the world around us, I strive to make a meaningful impact through the power of mathematics and interdisciplinary collaboration.
