Dr. Wisdom Avusuglo is an expert in Financial Mathematics and Data Science and uses a highly multi-disciplinary approach, at the intersection of disciplines such as Computer Science, mathematics, biology, public health, and epidemiology. His research project with ACADIC focuses on using mathematical modelling and other quantitative methods to improve decision-making for COVID-19 and malaria in Africa. He is currently designing and analyzing models to investigate the transmission dynamics of COVID-19 and malaria and better understand and quantify the health, economic, and social implications of different control measures and policies.

Dr. Blessing Ogechi Ogbuokiri completed a Doctoral degree in Computer Scence from the School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), Johannesburg, South Africa. He obtained advanced trainings in machine learning, deep learning, IBM data science, database management, AI ethics and policy, TensorFlow, and project management. He has a remarkable academic record at all levels of education. He holds the PSYBERGATE Computer Science Alumni Prize for the Best Student Tutor, at Wits University. Currently, he is a recipient of the Google DeepMind AlphaGo AI documentary. He has over fifteen years of work experience in academia, the software, and IT industries. He has managed teams and made many group decisions. Dr Blessing has more than 15 peer-reviewed publications in international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. He has successfully supervised more than ten (10) honours projects. Dr Blessing is interested in the following research domains, theoretical computing, machine learning, deep learning for social good, computer vision, software engineering (emphasis on implementation and testing). Dr. Blessing is a member of the following groups; Robotics, Autonomous, Intelligence and Learning research group at Wits, Black in AI, Institute of Information Technology Professionals (IITPSA), South Africa, International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Machine Intelligence Research Labs (MIR Labs), Washington, USA, and High Performance, Intelligence Computing (HiPIC), UNN, and Laboratory for Industrial Mathematics (LIAM), York University, Toronto, Canada. He is currently an Assistant Professor at Brock University, Canada.

Dr. Mbogning Fonkou Maxime Descartes is a  Research Analyst and Data Librarian, with a profound emphasis on health and biomedical studies. Now serving as a postdoctoral researcher at York University under the esteemed Prof. Jude Kong, Maxime‘s groundbreaking work during his Ph.D. at Aix Marseille Université, guided by the renowned Prof. Raoult Didier, resulted in the identification and publication of several novel bacterial species, marking a pivotal milestone in microbial research.
 
In an era characterized by the rapid proliferation of knowledge, Maxime recognized the intricacies researchers, policy-makers, and organizations grapple with in data management. Consequently, he has honed his skills in systematic reviews, bibliometrics, and scientometrics, and is on a continuous journey to master natural language processing and text mining. Driven by a sense of purpose, Maxime endeavors to support researchers, institutions, and decision-makers, aiding them in gleaning actionable insights from vast scientific and technical data, ultimately promoting evidence-based decision-making and optimizing resource management.
 
His passion lies at the intersection of health research, research inequalities (addressing the gender gap, disparities between global north and south), research funding, open access paradigms, research policy frameworks, collaborative research dynamics, research mobility, topical modeling in research, scholarly publications, patents, and the detailed analytics of bibliometric and scientometric evaluations.
